Day 10. The Thai greeting is referred to as
the ‘wai’. It consists of a slight bow, with the palms pressed together in a
prayer-like fashion. In Bangkok outside each McDonald’s restaurant there is a very
creepy plastic Ronald McDonald copying the Thai wai to greet potential
customers. I really do not understand what McDonald’s and their junk food is
doing in this country. Thai food is among the most delicious and healthy foods
imaginable. #ficklethinglife
